I followed up Cleveland Stops Hate with this vinyl pressing of Bone Hard Zaggin (limited to 333 copies). It is a very short EP as each side only contains 1 track each but it is so extremely catchy. This was much more fun to listen to. On the side A track "Pure Magic", Gillis managed to mash up tracks from Snap!, Kanye West, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Genesis, Hall & Oates, The Smashing Pumpkins as well as Bananarama (and that's only a portion of the samples that were used in just one song). The Side B track "LC and Lo" used songs from Billy Joel, Nirvana, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bel Biv Devoe, 'N Sync and the whole thing starts off with the theme from the TV show My So-Called Life. Now I'm sure you're interested if you've never heard of Girl Talk before. You're probably wondering how he can mashup such a wide variety of taste and genres in music. I guess you'll just have to find some of his material and check it out yourself! Girl Talk will cause dancefloors to appear wherever you go.
