The (International) Noise Conspiracy are a Swedish garage rock band. What would garner them the most attention is the simple fact that this is Dennis Lyxzen's band after the break-up of Refused. For Lyxzen, this is a subdued form of rock n' roll than he's used to playing. Refused played hardcore punk with tinges of metal. The majority of Lyxzen's vocals were screamed at a high pitch. This is a complete 180 degree turn for him. (International) Noise conspiracy play a mix of rock and punk and sing about girls, love and politics (affirming their left-wing stance). Lyxzen no longer screams as many of his vocals are clean. It was strange to hear the first time around. All in all, this wasn't a bad first album from these guys; things only got better as they progressed and became more comfortable in their sound. More (I)NC to follow!
