And now for the turnaround. The guys in Noise Conspiracy have altered their sound. Pop has reached the group. They begin adding extra instruments including organ and horns to the mix. In this album, they sound strikingly like The Hives. They stand firm on their anti-capitalist stance a per usual though. The album is not so poppy that their sound is completely altered. They still retain a garage-rock sound but the melodies are stronger and yet they can still turn out blazing tracks like "Born Into A Mess". This is an interesting turn for the band which will carry over onto their next album Armed Love.
